Since today Wiggy Bird's Hair Tips page is themed on sporty hair dos for those fashionable athletes, I've decided to turn my former side ponytail into a super tight sports do. Notice how it's curled to perfection around the head that says, "Cute but athletic." Remember to spray your finished side ponytail with hair spray to make it stick up a bit. Ya know, to make you look tougher.

Here is a classic ponytail...with an elegant yet cute and sporty touch. First make a ponytail. Gel it so that it sticks out right behind you. Then pull a few strands of hair out of the ponytail and string beads onto them. Cute, and yet you can play soccer with it.

This is a simple ponytail, and yet a whole lot more. Make a high ponytail, and then take a few strands of hair out of it. When you're playing sports, the wind will make those strands of hair whip around your face. Pretty and tough. The perfect combo.

Take a sweatband and use it like a headband. It'll sweep the hair out of your face so that you can see while you're playing, for example, tennis, and it'll let your hair flow out behind you so that you can show it off.

This hairdo can get a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. Just take a little of your hair in the front and make a small ponytail with it. Then take the rest of the headband and swoop it under your hair. It'll keep your hair up, for a perfect sporty updo.
